Exploded View: River. The River Cube is coming to town.

Exploded View, a local art, word and performance group is bringing The River Cube, the initial phase of their River project, to town on Saturday, April 29th. The interactive installation will be set up at The Tyler Memorial Library and Charlemont Town Office lawn from 10 to 1.  The River Cube asks participants to consider their relationships to the river by presenting water/river related information and posing questions…The river never stops moving. What grip does it have on us, on our memory, on our connection to place? Participants may interact by leaving stories, impressions, answers to these and other questions, or by posing their own questions.

This is a family-friendly event. There will be river-themed art projects for the kids, fish cookies, and lemonade.

Rain or shine.  In case of rain, put on your Wellies and come join us.

Exploded View: River is partially funded through a H.A.T.C.H grant with the support of Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association, The Art Garden, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Location Tyler Memorial Library and Charlemont Town Office Lawn (157 Main St, Charlemont, MA)
