A group of volunteers thoroughly cleaned and restocked the VIC prior to opening day on May 1st. Mole Hollow Candle donated two display racks which have been to good use.

Shelburne Falls is a small village located on the border of two towns, Buckland and Shelburne. Surrounding the village are a number of other towns, each with their own distinguishing qualities.

Ashfield is located to the South of Shelburne Falls near Route 112. Ashfield boasts a quiet main street spotted with local businesses. A main attraction in Ashfield is the beautiful Ashfield Lake located along the main street of town. The lake is enjoyed year round by swimmers, boaters, snow mobilers and skiers.
Small businesses can be found in Colrain which was once popular for it's factories and mills. Colrain is located directly North of Shelburne Falls.
The town of Charlemont is a hilltown community of about 1,300 residents located along the Deerfield River and the scenic Mohawk Trail in northwestern Massachusetts.
Settled in 1744, Charlemont covers 26 square miles and is still home to working farms and cottage industries as well as many recreational opportunities from whitewater rafting to downhill skiing.

Part of the Town of Buckland makes up half of the Shelburne Falls village. Buckland has it's own town center located a few miles south from Shelburne Falls on Route 112.
